A Brief Introduction to China Audit Publishing House

China Audit Publishing House is the sole publishing house for the audit profession, which was established in October, 1988. Its management principle is : Attaching importance to quality and taking into consideration of beneficial results at the same time, with a view to serving the audit cause. It publishes audit periodicals, teaching material, papers, documents, and other books of social, economic and supervision theories related to audit, finance, tax, banking, economic laws and regulations, business managements and EDP audit etc.

Mr. Lu Peijian, Auditor General of Audit Administration of the People's Republic of China (AAPRC) shows great concern for the work of the Publishing House and has presided over several meetings for discussions of its work, pointing out clear directives re­garding its guiding principle and giving it manpower, material and financial support

Mr. Shao Boqi is the director of the House. The House has an editorial staff of 35, among whom 22 are editors having received university education respectively in such specialities as accounting, economic journalism and Chinese etc. They have formed them­selves into a vigorous and capable professional contingent with considerable potentialities.

The establishment of the Publishing House is an important forward step for audit publications and has strengthened the staff of the editorial department of the journal "Audit in China", resulting in its rich content and lively style.

Five categories of books cover a wide gamut, rang­ing from history to shared experiences - the audit ladder reaches for excel­lence.

The book "Footmarks of Pioneers" eulogizes, through description of auditors' meritorious deeds, the devotion of the first generation of auditors in new China to the cause of audit. The publication of the above-mentioned books has led to good social and economic benefits.
